We are an ADP (Assistive Devices Program) vendor and we can bill directly through Veterans Affairs Canada, WSIB, Insurance Companies and other Government Programs.
ADP Walkers/Wheelchairs/Scooters and other equipment may be covered for funding through the ‘Assistive Devices Program’, in order to qualify you must firstly need to use the equipment, every day, inside and outside of your home. We can help you through the process of applying for funding, by recommending an Occupational Therapist to assess you in your home and to then complete the ADP application. You always will be given your own choice of vendor to use to supply the equipment through the ADP program.
The Government may fund up to 75% of the cost of the new equipment that you require. Once the process of an application begins, we provide you with temporary equipment at no charge to keep throughout the application process, which can take up to 6 months, we take your customer portion of 25% of the value of the new equipment once the assessment has been carried out and then provide you with the temporary equipment with no rental charge.
Once we receive approval from the Government for the funding, we ensure that you are happy with the temporary equipment that you have been using and then order the brand new equipment for you. For more details see the Government website link:
